Lighting Ideas for Parties and Special Events

  • Summer Gatherings: When the evenings are warm and the sun sets, turn your garden into a vibrant sanctuary of color, creating a cozy atmosphere for friends and family.

  • Outdoor Cinema: If you’re setting up a movie night outdoors, under the stars, consider adding mood lighting that suits the movie’s theme or genre to enhance the viewing experience.

  • Charitable Events: For fundraisers or awareness campaigns, go for lighting in colors that correspond with the cause, like pink for breast cancer awareness or blue to promote access to clean water.

  • Local Festivities and Cultural Events: Reflect the essence of local customs and cultural celebrations by choosing lighting in colors that embody the spirit of these events.

Make Every Special Occasion Stand Out!

  • Anniversary Parties: Light up your home in colors of romance to mark the occasion of love and lasting partnerships. Choose shimmering gold for a golden 50th anniversary or a deep ruby red for a 40th, reflecting the significance of these milestones.

  • Homecoming: Demonstrate your support for local students by adopting their school colors in your home’s lighting. Whether it’s to ramp up spirits before the game or celebrate afterwards, it sets a tone of community solidarity.

  • Corporate Events: If you’re planning a company event at your home, tailor the lighting to your business’s brand colors. This subtle enhancement can lend a professional yet welcoming vibe, showcasing your eye for detail.

  • Birthdays: Tailor the lighting to suit the theme of a sixteenth birthday bash or to honor someone’s major life milestone by using their preferred colors.

  • Graduation Parties: Honor the achievements of new graduates by bathing your home in the colors of their alma mater, signifying their progress from one stage of life to the next.

Businesses do this too, on a bigger scale, with commercial storefront lighting.

This will vary based on the controller type you have. Our newest system, the Edge controller, offers almost limitless possibilities. Contact us for more details.
Lighting
Yes, from the color palette screen simply long press any color circle outside the gray line box and a window will pop up giving you the option to slide your finger through the color spectrum to a specific custom color. You can also type in RGB codes for different color options. Then click OK and that custom color will be saved in that color circle.
Lighting
Yes, we have a preset for warm white on the custom color palette screen. Click on the color circle labeled WW which is the first circle on the second row. In addition to long pressing a custom color circle and dragging your finger across the color spectrum, you can also type in RGB codes directly into the boxes below the R-G-B settings. For a list of custom color RGB codes to input, use google to search for RGB color code charts.
Lighting
With RGB lights, pure white uses a combination of red, green, and blue to create the color. Therefore, the pure white setting may appear to have a blue hue, some people see the hue and some do not. We recommend looking at pure white from the sidewalk or street before trying to adjust the setting. If you still want to take the blue out, you can go into the custom color setting, type in 255 in each box below the corresponding R-G-B. From there, slowly decrease the number in the blue category until you see a white light you like. You can also use google to search for lists of RGB codes for different white hues. The Trimlight app includes a standard warm white and standard cool white option as well as the ability to customize shades any way you’d like!
Lighting
Typically, LED diodes with lenses can become faded or damaged due to constant sun exposure over time. However, Trimlight’s residential lighting has no lens or covering, just the direct LED shows out of the channel, which means Trimlight LEDs will not fade, get cloudy, or become discolored over time like many other exterior LEDs. Furthermore, Trimlight residential LEDs face down and below the channel which further protects them from constant sun exposure.
Lighting
‍The answer is sometimes. If the glitch or fault occurs within the RGB components then it will only affect that light. The light may turn a different color or shut off completely. If the glitch or fault occurs within the data wire of the affected light, it may affect all the lights after it in line. Either way it is a quick and simple repair, reach out to your local dealer and they will swap out the affected light which will correct any issue.

Please contact us to schedule a hassle-free replacement if one of your lights has gone out. Rest assured, your bulb is safeguarded by a product warranty of up to 50,000 hours of light use and LightBiz Template also provides a 1-year minimum labor warranty.
Lighting
Hardly any! Each Trimlight bulb uses 0.6 watts of energy. A 200 foot system would then use 120-400 watts. That means you would have to run your Trimlight system for nearly 3-8 hours before you’re billed $0.06 – $0.20! In comparison, incandescent Christmas lights use anywhere from 1000-1400 watts for the same number of lights!
