Home with permanent roofline lighting in Renton, WA

The short answer

We installed custom permanent LED lighting on a Renton home with many roof peaks, sloped ground and mature landscaping. Other lighting companies had passed on the job or quoted very high prices. Our crew planned each run around the peaks and finished the full install in one day.

The problem

The homeowner wanted permanent lights that made the house look great, lit the walkways for safety and showed off the landscaping. The roofline has many peaks, and the yard has sloped ground and established plantings that make ladder work hard.

What we did, step by step

  1. Walk the site and plan around the peaks

The crew mapped every peak and valley and chose ladder spots that protected the landscaping.

  2. Design a custom layout

Fixtures and runs were laid out to follow the architecture so each peak reads cleanly from the street.

  3. Install, wire and test in daylight

The team mounted the track, ran the wiring, did electrical safety checks and tested every zone before dark.

How long it took

One day on site, from layout to final test.

The tricky part

Many roof peaks plus sloped ground and existing landscaping meant every ladder position had to be planned in advance.

The result

Every peak now lights up for holidays and everyday accent light, the walkways are brighter at night, and the landscaping stands out after dark. The lights carry a product warranty.

Why this matters in Renton

Many Renton neighborhoods sit on hillsides with steep rooflines, which is why a permanent system that never has to come down is a good fit here.

Common questions from Renton homeowners

Can permanent lights go on a roof with lots of peaks?

Yes. Each peak is planned as its own run so the lights follow the roofline cleanly.

Why do some installers turn down complex rooflines?

Steep or broken rooflines take more planning and ladder work, so some crews skip them or price them high.

Can permanent lighting also light walkways for safety?

Yes. Warm white settings light paths and entries at night as well as decorating for holidays.

Is permanent lighting covered by a warranty?

Yes. The lights in this project carry a product warranty.
